Whether you stop in for an afternoon espresso or authentic taste of Italy at dinnertime, this ambient spot on Las Olas hits on all eight cylinders every time. The lovely hostess at the bar possesses an unforgettable poise and charm. Their in-housr ricotta cheesecake is divine and a perfect pairing with a macchiato or latte. Enjoy a taste of the old country, just a shorter walk! View all feedback.
What Cindy doesn't like about Caffe Europa:
Disappointed Blonde Curly hair bartender out of control. I think it's a wig anyway. I think there's a love quarrel behind the bar. Just wanted to eat... Probably just the help nowadays. You have to hire anyone View all feedback.
Love this place. Love sitting at the bar. They serve these fabulous little pizza bites as a complimentary appetizer. The staff is great and so is food and service. It's consistent. Great soups and desserts too.,
This casual Italian restaurant located on Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside on the sidewalk patio. I had the lunch special Mahi Francese $28 with the orzo instead of pasta. The preparation was nice but the fish didn't taste like Mahi. They do not accept separate checks.
Today we found a pure gem in Fort Lauderdale. This place is just simply amazing. The food was to die for, everything was pure perfection. We started with the melon and prosciutto-perfect combo of sweet and savory. The calamari Europa had a bit of a kick to it, so if you don't like spice stay away, however if you don't mind a little kick then go for it- we loved it I had the penne ala vodka and the sauce was nice and thick and flavorful. My girlfriend had the rigatoni and she wouldn't stop talking about it, it was gone before I even had a chance to taste it lol. My husband had the chicken and mushroom sauce, I actually got a chance to try his and let's just say I wasn't disappointed. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The ambiance is pleasant and soothing. Go check them out if you're in the mood for some great Italian
First, we only had dessert and a drink. Ok, the service was EXCELLENT. Everyone that we met was super nice, especially our server. (Wish I got her name, she was tall and slim with a braid and had an accent) The espresso martini was one of the best I've ever had. Super strong. My husband LOVED the baba rum. I had the chocolate suicide. It was ok to me, but I think it's a me thing. I like a cake that has more of an icing texture in the middle, and this was more of a pudding kind of texture. So judging solely on dessert and drinks, this place was great.
Café Europa is located on Las Olas in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. My family and I dined here on a recent trip south. When entering the restaurant it has an old school Italian vibe. You can the kitchen is large and open. They offer seating inside at a proper table, at the bar and outside. We made our way to the host and were not greeted. The host hostess were not friendly at all. Once seated our server literally made up for our bad experience immediately. He was very polite, engaging, informative about the menu, answered any questions we had. At the start of the meal every table receives some crispy Italian bread along with oil and balsamic. All of us love this part of the meal. My wife and sister-in-law also decided to split the Italiana (Romaine, Fresh Mozzarella, olives, prosciutto, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, with balamic vinaigrette My sister-in-law totally enjoyed this salad. Everything on the salad was totally fresh. My wife said its not her personal favorite as she doesn't really care for red peppers. She felt that the red peppers were overpowering. By the time our server circled back all of us were ready to order. They offer lunch specials, which I ordered from, and mother in law. I got a grilled chicken Cobb salad (grilled chicken breast on top of a huge bowl of lettuce, tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, avocado and bacon. I got a balsamic vinaigrette This was a delicious salad. The dressing was house made, everything was crisp and fresh. The chicken was well seasoned and moist. My mother in law always orders the same lunch as it's one of her favorites, which is grilled salmon served with an orzo rice. She had a very large piece of salmon and it was covered in a lemon butter sauce. My wife and sister and father inlaw all went for pasta dishes. My wife went for the Rigatoni Bolognese, the meat sauce is homemade. She the sauce was delicious, however the pasta was a little crunchy. My father in law ordered the Rigatoni Fritti(Pan-fried rigatoni, plum tomato sauce, meatballs The server told him ahead of time that they fry one side of the noodle, after it cooks, so the noodles would be very crunchy. My father in-law seemed to enjoy the dish. My sister-in-law chose Penne alla Vodka(Prosciutto, vodka, plum tomato sauce, cream She said it was delicious and one of her favorite meals here. All in all this was a good experience, despite how things started. We will come back here for sure
