08/24/2023 Small, but cute museum to waste a couple of hours in. Clean and nicely organized. Very hands on and good for children.
We love the museum of discovery! So far I have had experience with two, three, four, five, six and eight year old kids visiting and it's been great for all, with adults having a great time too. I had a membership for a few years which also makes it incredibly cost-effective if you plan on going frequently. When my son was 2-4 we visited every other week and while there are a lot of stable exhibits, there is enough change to keep everything interesting and fresh. The staff is super kind and patient, definitely seems to be staffed by people who understand kids and that's worth soooo much! We also attended a kindergarten birthday here and it was a blast. We love to visit the bee hive, and to play with all of the instruments. For a few years the stairs were a big draw too. Highly recommended!

A tornado simulation. History of Fort Collins. Pretty neat.
