My wife I had two Hearty Cut prime rib meals, which were on special for $10 off tonight. We like our prime a bit different than most (medium), and the chef cooked it to perfection!! Garlic-Mashed potatoes were hot tasty. Service was excellent cheese curds appetizer were great as well. Was a slow evening was nice to have some good background music that wasn 't too loud, the TV 's that are up weren 't taking over the w... View all feedback.
What Angie Trebus doesn't like about Norman Quack's Everyday Chophouse:
Never had an issue with this place over the years but today was disappointing. Server had 1 other table (6 ppl) besides us (2 ppl). We were ready to walk out when he finally came over and asked our drink order, about 10 mins. By this time, we were ready to order. Place order with soup as our starter. Nothing, nothing, nothing and then our meal came from a different server. We mentioned our missing soup. She told our... View all feedback.
It was so juicy.it was hot of the grill..they got good salad.
It was meh. Typical bar and grill. Nice server. Salad was already premade (so onions were already mixed in. I’mAllergic). Kind of a cute place with Knick knacks and signs. Food wise: very average.
They will not take an order over the phone for takeout. What a joke. Take phone orders like a normal place. Everyone else on the planet does it just fine
I’ve sent 2 emails to the owner with no response.I’ve lived in Forest Lake for about 7 years now. Been to your establishment quite a few times. About 2 months ago my friend and I each ordered the full rack of ribs with soup. We never received bread even after asking. Chocolate cake was dry. Both of our orders were lukewarm but we couldn’t say anything to our server as she was never around. So we paid over $80 for subpar food. 3 weeks ago we decided to try it again. This time the ribs were fall off the bone amazing. The service was the best we ever had. So we thought things had changed… until tonight..We just left from there about 30 min ago, with no bread, no servers asking if we wanted to order and it was slow in there. We sat there for about 10 min with nothing. A server came over and refilled my friends water. She asked how we’re doing. I said good, how are you? She said good and walked away. We never had anyone come back to us again. With so many servers and very few customers, why was it so hard for someone to take our table? There was one big table with all their food and the other table didn’t have food but had bread, assuming they put their order in. Beyond frustrated as we live here and there aren’t many good options for food. We spend a lot of money there and feel like we just lost your establishment as a place we can feel welcome.Looking at your recent reviews, maybe as an owner you should listen to what your customers say.
For a chophouse, I would have expected better products (not an overcooked steak, quesadilla). The Jalapeño Burger was good, but hardly for the price of the meal.
