Mcdonald's - Forest Hills

Today, I went to McDonald's to buy an ice cream cone. The female employee, who was Indian, made the ice cream cone for me without wearing any gloves or a mask. When she handed me the ice cream cone, I noticed that her nail polish was peeled off on each finger, which was very disgusting. I informed the manager about this, but she didn't apologize and just made another ice cream cone for me with a poker face. Later, I saw the manager talking to the employee, and her reaction was shocking and unbelievable. It is mandatory for all McDonald's employees to wear gloves when interacting with customers, starting from March 21st, 2021. I hope that this restaurant will ensure that their employees follow this rule, especially with the ongoing threat of COVID-19 and the spread of diseases like monkeypox. I stopped by this restaurant late last night for coffee after having a wonderful Southern dinner. Despite enjoying my day overall, the manager's abrupt and impolite gesture of waving me out as they were closing really stood out to me. It left a sour taste in my mouth and made me realize the importance of basic manners and customer service. They could benefit from some training on how to politely handle such situations. It's something that should come naturally in the service industry.

The manager, Denzel, is friendly, polite, and effectively resolves any issues. This restaurant used to be poorly maintained, but thanks to Denzel, it is now clean and free of drug users and homeless individuals. He truly deserves recognition, praise, and a salary increase.

I was having coffee late night yesterday here. I had great day overall. Just came here after having great southern dinner. I think it was approaching closing time of restaurant and the manager came as just waved his hand to me and said “out out”. Very impolite way to tell people that they are closing for the day. I had a great day otherwise and next day I was thinking about it so I thought I should write it down. These guys need training on how to be polite with people. I thought this was something basic.

The quality has greatly improved, however, the Big Mac is a bit inconsistent. It's good some days and other days ingredients are missing or it's not cooked as well.
