I often visit this store for a sandwich. They do them really well, hence it's popularity for the lunch trade for which they specialise.
Desperately needed a quick lunch while passing through the Brentwood Square Shopping Centre and ducked in after seeing that the ladies were making fresh sandwiches from scratch using very nice looking breads, fillings and condiments. Then I saw the soup....$7.50 for a huge serve of absolutely delicious soup that was cheerfully placed in a container that I could safely use while travelling, plus lid, top, napkin, toast if I had wanted it....and really pleasant banter. Wow! JS Lunch Spot looks as if it has been around for a while and is not a hip ultra modern venue but if the other lunch offerings are as good value and tasty as my soup or the generously sized and filled sandwiches that I watched being made then it is a real local winner that I will frequent again next time I have business in the area. There was plenty of parking and easy access back onto Canterbury Road.
