I wanted to have a coffee and read my book. I had a wonderful time! Nice place, I like the interior design and the concept of the coffee house/taproom. The service was great, the lady was very sweet and friendly. When my husband picked me up, we wanted to drink a glass of wine, but we just bought the bottles because the alcohol is only served in plastic. That would be something I want to change. It is nice to have a local brewery type place thst offers live entertainment. That said, parts of this place are pretty dated and seem unspecified. It also has the same problems many places today have too many hard surfaces that make difficult to almost impossible with a conversation because all surrounding noises just bump around. Sat at the bar, they were a little busy. 2 bartenders saw me and never even acknowledged me, never mind asking what I would like to drink. Service: 1

Went to the Twisted Pear last night for the first time. Despite the AC being out we had a really great time. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make us all feel comfortable. The live music was fantastic and they had a huge selection of lovely wine and beer. If they do the music bingo and trivia night, we will definitely be making this our go-to spot in Forest City.
Dog friendly! Our GSD was allowed inside with us while we enjoyed our drinks. We haven't tried any of the food, but the drinks have been great every time. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
