The wings were pretty good, I ordered the medium and there wasn't much of a kick but there are options to go hotter on the scale. When I walked in I thought the restaurant smelled pretty bad, not sure what that was about... The service was fair, a large group of people entered and I'm sure that played a part. Probably a 10 degree difference between the bar/eating area and the bathroom of the woman. I sweated and only in a few minutes it was a very hot wet day when that is important). We were on a **** Mary Tour and had the gourmet bleedings. Although they were good, some of the other places were better. The fried artichokes in it were a big hit! The pasta in it was freezing. Very good service. Another visit I would imagine and I would go back. Hopefully next time they have a full bottle of Blue UV.
A great place for pub food and an EXPANSIVE beer list. Very enjoyed my schnitzelburger (although probably a tad greasy) and the pommes were the best wedges I ever had (a lot of taste). Great service! Thanks for hanging around after our dinner. 4/5 as from now on it does not brew its own beer, so not technically a “Brewpub”
Great service for 9:30! For the first time experience, great flavored food, chicken quesadillas, Spice Crusted Pork Loin mos def recommend! No pee smell!
The restaurant in fdl offers delicious food at reasonable prices. Their menu is quite diverse, catering to all tastes. The service is excellent and we were seated promptly. The atmosphere is pleasant, with a spacious bar area and multiple TVs. They also have a downstairs room available for parties, which is a great feature. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy a good meal and drinks, whether you're alone or with family.
The food at this restaurant is disappointing, especially considering that the chef was trained at a top school in the USA. Ratings above 3 stars are not accurate, and may be from friends of the owner. The beer selection is great, but the food is subpar. I have dined here four times and have never had a satisfying meal. I will not be returning unless they change chefs (whose father owns the restaurant). Additionally, they claim to be a brew pub but do not actually brew beer. They have been saying they are working on it, but have not set up any equipment. There are many better dining options in Fondy.
