The place is cute, the food is sooo good and the staff is fun and friendly. The smoked chicken elote taco was so good! They have a good happy hour for drinks too! Will be back, and will probably end up being a regular since it’s right down the road from me View all feedback.
What Alecia M doesn't like about Taco Ocho Flower Mound:
I ordered the chicken quesadilla which was a big portion(enough for two) but super soggy. The queso is good but the portion they give you for $7.99 is meager at best and seems to get smaller each time I order. The pic beside the salsa is for reference the container is barely filled halfway. I definitely won’t be splurging on the queso again it’s just not worth the price. View all feedback.
Taco Ocho is a great place for hanging out with family and friends . It’s a casual dining experience. Great options for vegetarians and meat lovers. Loved their tacos. Great selection and their margaritas are so yum. Their chips are so fresh and one of kind salsa. Try the hot salsa which has a kick. On an average of you spend $15-$20 you will be full. Service is good and staff are friendly.
Shame on me for two reasons…1) for taking so long for reviewing this restaurant and 2) for taking so long to try their brunch! We love Taco Ocho. It’s super close to our home, and it offers a wide variety of Latin menu choices. It is owned by a local family and always has wonderful service. The food is favorable and delicious. They offer lots of vegan and gluten free choices. So the brunch…OMG! So many breakfast choices. I finally decided on the huevos rancheros, and my meal was delicious. They have lots of brunch drink specials…including $4 mimosas and an amazing Prickly Pear Margarita which is as tasty as it is pretty! Highly recommend Taco Ocho for any time of the day!
We’ve eaten from here twice in two days. The tacos are so good!! I’ve had the Latin love (I think this is my favorite. Love the plantains), beef Colorado, and chicken fajita tacos. All are so great! My husband also had the jalapeño pork and really liked it. The chips and queso were also a win! It’s white cheese which I like more than the normal Texas yellow. They also give you little cups of salsa to put on your tacos. I can believe we’ve been sleeping on this place! At this point they’ll probably see me back tomorrow.

The owner took care of us. We had my sister-in-law’s B-day celebration here. They didn’t have a lighter to light the candles on our cake so they lit the candles on the stove in the back! They have a lot of options for vegans and vegetarians. There are many meat dishes as well.
