Chef Joe's - Florida Keys

Chef Joe is an incredible chef! His tacos and food are top-notch, and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. There are daily specials, such as 2 for $5 tacos with beans and rice (choice of chicken, beef, or pork), as well as tasty fresh smoothies. Make sure to visit during the following hours: Monday-Thursday from 6am to 4pm, and Friday-Saturday from 6am to 7pm.

This restaurant is a true hidden gem owned by a family. The food is fresh and the staff is friendly. It is definitely worth a visit to support this wonderful restaurant.

The breakfast burritos are worth stopping, even if you're not going to Key Largo. The Flamethrower is spiced without being pure heat like so many places do it, and the hash browns are spiced and crispy perfection.

I stumbled upon this place while stopping for gas. The staff was amazingly kind and friendly. I got the taco plate, with one fish (mahi) and one shrimp. Overall, it was not bad. Could have been a little more flavorful. My husband and son had burgers, which they said were good. The beans and rice were tasty. They also have salsas and desserts for sale. I would go back and try something new.
