There was two people in our party both of us ordered chicken fried steak, with broccoli, fried okra. As usual the chicken fried steak was very good it was so large we each took half of it home. The sides were very good also. The service was excellent the employees work very hard. The owner Charlotte should be very proud of her business. Great job all. View all feedback.
What javier doesn't like about Trail Riders Steak House:
We were promptly seated with menus but that was about the only good service we received. Sat there for 15 mins while waiters walked by never taking our orders. Seems like you need to be local to have your order taken. Never again supporting local business. View all feedback.
We have been loyal customers for Ten years. The last few years the service has been declining with less than friendly service, with the wait staff being less than presentable. Dining area had food and filth throughout we dined at 4:30 pm thirty minutes after opening. Wait staff treated us like an inconvenience. Food today was mediocre at best. After a twenty minute wait there was nobody available to accept payment $97.00. Family left, once a waitress came to the front, we asked her to please take our payment. Time is valuable. Customers are valuable. Customer service professionalism and presentation is important. Very disappointed!!!! Trail riders used to be our family GO TO place for a wonderful dining experience with excellent food. Definitely failing at this point.

The food was good my steak was cooked perfectly. The hometown pride shown in this place is so great. Being new to the community it was wonderful to see small towns still exist. We were there on a very busy Friday night. Not a long wait for a table, somewhat of a wait to be served but could tell the staff was working as hard as possible so it wasn't a problem. We will definitely go back. And we will be taking out of town friends when they come.
This is a tough review to write because it's based a lot on a situation many restaurants are having: namely sparse wait-staff. I generally rate my steakhouses on the service and in this case, it was a little off this time. Unnecessary waiting at the door (which isn't sized for the numbers that were waiting as wait staff sauntered from table to table, and busing tables was literally done one-handed (we've all seen those teenagers work who clearly don't want to be there. Besides the service, the serving sizes were large and the my rib eye had a nice seer and was maybe 2 minutes cooked over what I liked. The wife had a taco salad, which she said tasted like they'd crumbled a hamburger patty to build it. BUT it was quite large for the cost.As I go over previous reviews, it seems like Trail Rider's either gets it right big time or is way off. Hopefully they can bring it all up to par and keep the small town vibe going.
