We went into this restaurant because we wanted to try the amazing looking/sounding pasta prepared in a cheese wheel. we were not disappointed with our decision at all! the server makes a wonderful job with the show to soften the cheese and then mix fresh pasta in the wheel, adding white truffle oil and the shaved truffles on the top. the taste of this plate is amazing and the preparation show is also wonderful. this is popular in restaurant so they should make a reservation to go here. the lasagne was the best I ever had and is not traditional with truffle cream in it. the desserts are great, but also not traditional Italian in preparation so it is worth trying in any case. the house wine was great and our experience here was worth the trip!
Travel from kanada: let me first say that I cannot make fairness to eating here. I came for the truffle cheese wheel, which even went beyond my high expectations, but was elated to find that this is not a special element, but that everything is done perfectly. the rest of my family ordered all the other meals and were very satisfied. that said, I would still say that catching up the cheese wheel is a taste and entertainment experience that they should not miss if they decide to feed here. not only the hearty dishes delicious, but also the desserts are impeccable. a family member said that the strawberry lemon sable in the run desserts for the best she ever had. the tiramisu is also excellent kreatiw. next to eating the service was usually good and the environment was very pleasant. the cover fee includes three types of brot (better than any other brot I had in italy) as well as small aperitifs and after dinner limoncello dishes. the waiter brought the wine to taste even before serving, although he was only for a glass, not a bottle. that was very appreciated. overall, probably the best meal I had in italia. I would recommend that they eat here when they travel in the toskana. it would be wise to make a reservation because it was very busy when we were there (we have made a reservation by thefork about 3 days before the time and there was already limited availability.)
Make sure they reserve online in advance and are ready to stay in a line. otherwise super friendly staff and really good eating. the feed plate with the different meat and cheese was so. the pasta with the cheeseball should die for. the wild pork pasta was super good, not really saucy, but the noodles were super freshly tasting. free brot and a small glass wine to begin was nice. no place to leave a top so care money.
Ate here for lunch on shortly before getting on the train to leave town. Having been in Italy for more than a week, I thought the service was great! If you’re coming straight from America or haven’t eaten many sit down meals yet you have to slow down- people take their time here and servers aren’t trying to turn your table. You will always have to ask for your bill. Enjoy one another and the food. The cheese wheel pasta was a perfect close to our time in Florence.
We waited over an hour because we didnt make a reservation so learn from that mistake! This place is absolutely amazing, if I could I'd give it 6 stars! We had the lasagne, ravioli and the cheese wheel pasta holy mother of god, the food was great! I rarely had more satisfying and tasty dishes, an absolute must go if you are in Florence!
