la raccolta is a center of quality. the front is a small snack/dessert/café breakfast with a few tables, so if you are looking for an espresso and delicious vegan chocolate cakes you set. the middle area is a market, so they can have some organic fruit and vegetables and/or a lot of important clips. then the back area is a midday room with some of the best meals for a hearty and healthy lunch in flourorence. After having had some problems with the language barrier, I ordered one of the few vegan dishes they had. but it was very boring, without taste at all. but it looked healthy. I guess they should go to this place only if they are tired of getting delicious pizza on every corner (it is possible and dolce vegan is closed. View all feedback.
Ristorante semplice ma accogliente. ottimo cibo. Forse un po' costoso. tuttavia per provare e restituire utile il negozio all'interno dove è possibile acquistare i prodotti
Everything on the lunch menu was vegan. It was a mezze-style meal where we chose 5 items from a list. Very pleasant. Friendly, helpful staff.
When I visited, there was no cover fee (coperto) for lunch, but I think there was for dinner. So maybe better for lunch than for dinner. I ordered the seitan with Mediterranean spices combined with roasted potatoes with vegetables. This is an interesting thing about the menu: the main courses are actually small, but includes the combination with another element on the menu, so it is like two half meals for more variety. The visual presentation was appealing and the food delicious. Vegan elements are clearly marked on the Italian menu; I have not read the English menu, so I cannot confirm it. Prices are somewhat steep for what I am used to, but this is for the course in Florence. In addition, a nice health food business has been installed. Updated from previous review on
Just tried to go here yesterday and found that it is closed until 3 September for summer hols (as is Caffelatte). Review from previous visit last year: We went here for lunch in September it wasn 't immediately obvious that it was a restaurant as you can only see the shop from the outside. The food was 'very veggie ' (e.g. beetroot, soya, tofu, lots of yummy cold salads) which was great for me for a change from pasta and pizza, not so great for my friend who had never been to a vegetarian restaurant before! There are some standard options though like pasta etc for the more unadventurous. We had the mix of 4 dishes deal for 10 euros, you can choose almost any 4 dishes from the menu so lots of variety. We also really loved the fact they didn 't insist on speaking english to us as happens so often, so we had an oportunity to practice italian! They did however get one of the chefs out from the kitchen to translate when we wanted to know what something specific was on the menu, really went out of their way to be helpful. Great place shame it 's not open for dinner! Updated from previous review on Wednesday October 27, 2010
I went there with my mother. Food was great, really high quality. We had the mixed plates you choose some dishes from the list that changes everyday. The only problem is that the more interesting dishes were already finished when we came... but still everything was very good for a price of around 10 13 euros for a plate, good price for organic food. we also had two pieces of cakes also very good.
