Whenever I am in Mold, this is my go-to spot for lunch. The menu offers simple yet delicious dishes, with a hint of exotic flavors on the specials board. The welcoming atmosphere is always present, and David, the chef and owner, is always friendly and welcoming. This café is reminiscent of how they used to be - simply brilliant. View all feedback.
What doublelolly doesn't like about Doherty's Cafe Bistro:
Called for a quick coffee with my Dad and daughter as it was convenient for school. The smell when we entered was overpowering. Like wet dog! A lot of wet dogs! The menu was sticky, the table cloth dirty and the carpet has seen better days and could have done with being replaced a long time ago by the looks of it. The toilet is clean however and the staff friendly but we will not be returning. View all feedback.
I went for the Ultimate Breakfast, which was a huge plate of food. Everything was cooked to perfection and the quality of the food was top notch. The price was extremely good for the amount of food, and included a drink. Fantastic breakfast.

First time at this cafe, rang the bell for entry, kind greeting seating, food was hot delicious, service was swift and very friendly, place was extremely clean. Would highly recommend the breakfast. Jason.
Great that Dave has reopened. Refurbished during lockdown and looking fresh and ready to provide good meals, service and a chat. Regulars already returning on first day reopened which speaks volumes. Had the breakfast and was great as usual along with the friendly chat and jovial atmosphere. Recommended
