What SueN1090 doesn't like about Gastone A Mare:
The worst and impolite stuff. Stuff did not meet us, about 10 minutes we were trying to have attention. Then, when we were sitting at the free table (without ‘reserved’ sign). We were trying to ask the menu about three times. Then with brought menu, water and bread, another waiter asked us to leave the table with words “sorry, this table is reserved”. View all feedback.
Set on the seafront at Fuimicino, this restaurant offers the perfect dining experience. Our party of fourteen was very well looked after by the staff for our celebratory birthday lunch, in tastefully decorated surroundings, and it was easy to take a break between courses and stand/sit outfront and admire the seaviews. The food was delicious and superbly cooked and presented. We had a great Sunday afternoon here, and I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Our host from our AirBnB suggested Gastone, said it was very good and very fresh. Indeed it was! The staff was very accommodating (we failed to make a reservation) and friendly and the food was amazing.
We 7 friends came here after a long a tiresome journey to recharge our batteries bodies . There was no menu card due to the virus hysteria ??? , but we got offered carbonara and steak. We tried all of them, and no disappointment! The steak was fabulous, and the pasta was also gone in minutes. The only backdraw was the noisy company at the next table, but they left fairly soon.
Restaurant on the long sea of Fiumicino, if you eat outside feel the sea. They are always super cozy, and they cook as fear. Take the tasting as an appetizer you will not regret it. You will feel many of those aromas and flavors from the contamination of foods that there will not be a first and a later. But you will also taste classic tastes that never hurt, like fried mussels and moscardini. On the first and second as you choose, choose well. Quality ingredients, attention to the territory and so much sympathy. The price is really honest and super competitive for quantity and quality, if it comes back for sure
Stefano and his brother maintain the quality of this place that stands out for the right balance of impression and quality! Good spaghetti with curls and the raw Imperiale! Interesting wine card that I would expand with some extra label! Good sweets discreet parking availability!
