We had walked past Fitz Curry a couple of times and just couldn't resist those exotic Indian Curry flavour smells wafting our way - so we did a walk-in for dinner. Oddly enough and given its foody reputation, Melbourne doesn't have many Indian restaurants, certainly not good ones. Fitz Curry is worth a try. It's plain vanila on the decor side. The menu is generic Indian, a mix of North and South dishes, although mostly North. Service is pleasant. Usually this is great, but today they were destroyed by the delivery service, which lasted too long and obviously had to be delivered other orders from our opposite. the papadams were soft and were thrown out. the rest had to be heated....Normally in minutes, tonight over an hour. this restaurant must change its supplier or they will go broke. we give them another chance. there are so many other options that they do not screw up this simple thing. sack door dash.

I live in Melbourne and this is my favourite Indian restaurant, I’ve been coming here on and off for years. The food is amazing, and has never let me down. I have brought many friends and family here. The restaurant itself isn’t a fine dining...experience, don’t expect much in the way of lovely tables and chairs/decor but the food is so so good. I love the eggplant dish, the butter chicken and the butter naan. from me!
