If you like the location in and Worcester and you find yourself in Sturbridge, you'll feel right at home. Lots of space for tons of seating and the food quality was fantastic. Get the oysters! The noodles were good, but nowhere near as impressive as the sushi and the oysters. The service was prompt and attentive. Did I mention the oysters? Yeah, try the oysters. View all feedback.
What Hunter Foote doesn't like about Baba Sushi:
The service was great and the food/drinks tasted great, perfect night out with my friends. But a few hours later I was so insanely SICK with food poisoning. I?ve eaten sushi hundreds of times all across the country and I?ve not once been sick from it. I?m well aware that eating raw fish is always a risk but it?s truly unacceptable. We're here for my husband's birthday. What a wonderful experience. The food was great, the experience was fun and our server was top notch! Love the hot pot and the sushi!!! Very recommended!
Always delicious. Favorite dish sushi spring roll man loves the oysters, uni and Otoro. Love to sit at the sushi bar, but hot pot is also very good. One of our favorite restaurants. The live music on weekends is usually really great, too.
We went to lunch. The first time there and the menu was overwhelming. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. The hot pot was delicious and funny! I had a fantastic cocktail and they have a good beer selection. Sushi was also delicious. Everything was fresh. The only case for us is the price. A bit expensive for our budget. We had a gift card and if family asks what we want, Baba Sushi will definitely be on our wish list.
We were only there twice. The first month or so after they just opened so it was little crazy. We just left a few days ago. The selection of the different sushi reels is greater than the city rival, the size of the reels are also larger, but you do not get so many and little more.. I love the hot pot can't go wrong. Choose your broth and meat package or make yourself and enjoy cooking with good times. The servers are now knowledgeable, compared to the first. They were very friendly as we had a two table for three and I got a hot pot and they moved us to put it so everyone really had enough space.
First time visit, excellent atmosphere, was greeted by every employee I passed on way to our reserved table. Drinks were terrific, we enjoyed a few different drinks including a seasonal cider sangria and dessert martinis at the end of the meal. Did not try hot pot this time, stayed with sushi (outstanding in both presentation and taste- 3 types) and chicken teriyaki dish as well as a perfectly cooked filet mignon. Our server was Anthony, he also made for a pleasant experience. We spent some serious but worth it, we look forward to going back soon!
