Was staying close by and was recommended to go here. You can order take away or they have some tables in the room next door. Only pizza beer and softbdrinks available. Pizza pricess around 7 euro. One of the best pizza ive had hands down. View all feedback.
What Furio Guerra doesn't like about La Bottega Del Pizzaiolo:
The pizza is very good, although a bit too crispy sometimes. The ladies taking the orders are rude and impolite, while the guys doing the pizza are very nice and helpful. View all feedback.
Excellent pizza for a reasonable price. Drop by if you're in the area. The restaurant was small and cozy and the service was fast.
We stayed nearby and had this pizza one night after a day of stomping the pavement through Florence. It was AMAZING! Service was fast, the place was clean and it was just good and tasty! We had the capricciosa ‘cap ree cho sah’ which, we have been told means ‘irritable or can’t make up mind like a small child’ our Italian friend tells us like capricious in English and the salame pepperoni . Was divine. Best Pizza we have had. We love our food so ate half each, of each! A whole pizza each!! Worth the trip if you what to get out of mainstream Florence town centre.
Stayed in Florence for 4 nights and had pizza for dinner here for 3 consecutive nights. I was lucky to be staying on the same street as the restaurant, and droped in by chance during one hungry evening. It is a quaint family run pizzeria, run by the chefs, and their mother who takes the orders . The lady is sweet and was very kind to help me out with the menu and my selections, and even though the staff knew little English, we got by just fine with hand gestures and broken Italian/ English. There is a tiny seating area if you'd like to eat inside as well we took away our pizzas every night . Prices start from 5 euros a pizza, and they are generous with their toppings. The real zing is in their sauce, which seems to be a family recipe. I ordered a different pizza each time do try their margherita and worstel pizzas. The best thing is that they are open till 11pm, despite being in the suburbs food joints in Italy unfortunately rarely open till that late . You can see the pizzas being prepared and put into a wood fired oven directly in front of you. 1 pizza is enough for 2 people unless you're famished in that case 1 pizza for 1 person! : After trying several pizzas across Rome, and Naples which is ironically the birthplace of pizza , we found this to be the best pizza we had in Italy so far, and a perfect accompaniment to an unforgettable stay in Florence. Would recommend this to anyone in Florence looking for a great pizza at an even better price.
Very good pizzas, excellent seasonings. fast service. advice
I really liked their pizza. You're burning and you're feeling! personally, I liked the fact that the part below was well cooked and crisp (not burnt obviously). generous with the ingredients, I took a daisy with mushrooms and cost me euro. therefore honest prices. If I remember, it's on the euro! recommended. Dearest staff! Congratulations
