You don’t often go back to a restaurant couple of years after you last did and find it even better but that’s what happened for my birthday dinner last night. Melt in your mouth oysters (I had to order a second entree of them), giant plate of mussels, wonderful wine and cocktails and while it’s early, probably the service experience of 2018. What an amazing night. Won’t leave it so long to return next time. View all feedback.
Went on Wednesday 15 Nov with my wife for my birthday, food was excellent, waiter (Mac) was incredibly attentive, a credit to the restaurant. Food menu was great, wine menu very comprehensive. Would recommend this place for both a special occasion, or even just a lunch or dinner catch up with friends. Had a bad experience previously at Bennelong, a few years back, but this place was awesome. Well done guys!
I had a dinner with friends and we were advised by the manager what dishes to order and the wine matched. The chef then came to the table to ask for an opinion and we chatted. All the staff very nice and helpful, the place very beautiful and the dinner went in the best way. I can't wait to get back. I recommend anyone to go there, it was a nice experience!
Atmosphere was warm and approachable , the waiters were exceptional. One in particular did a fantastic job of being attentive and knowledgable while in no way coming across as rigid . His personal anecdotes made for a casual warm evening while being waited on like a king . The food was on point and had the classic french flavours I was looking for. The dessert and cheese trolley gave a fantastic nostalgic feel that you just don't see too often these days . I had the escargot and then veal sweetbreads . Both were fantastic although the sweetbreads had a little too much veal jus for my personal taste . This however didn't take away from the dish . Overall a fantastic dining experience and I would go again
A fabulous meal with very attentive staff. Every course was a taste sensation and we left feeling most replete. A very comprehensive wine list made it a challenge to choose for our meal. Perhaps the best course came from the Dessert trolley, from which we had a wide range of choices. Guillaume is to be complemented on the variety available on his menu. Thank you.
I was lucky enough to have my birthday dinner here. You must try the tuna nicoise, the silky egg will transport you to a special place. The dessert trolley is a must, we tried the lemon tart and chocolate salted caramel tart although we will have to return to try the chocolate mousse. Overall a great experience. Food and service is first class.
