We had a fantastic lunch today, accompanied by a flight of pies! The staff was extremely friendly, and the desserts—the pies and cinnamon cider donuts—were absolutely perfect and made us drool. As a bonus, the live music outside added a wonderful touch to our weekend experience! View all feedback.
What happycowgirl doesn't like about Crane's Pie Pantry:
Rating: 3.5 out of 5 cows. The veggie burger is quite tasty, but the real draw of this place is the experience itself, especially in the Fall. They have a corn maze and delicious homemade pies available to take home. The venue is filled with a lot of antiques, which can be a bit creepy, but it adds to the charm! For vegetarians, there's also grilled cheese on the menu. It's a great spot for families or a date. If the... View all feedback.
Wing on a rainy day, so that wait was not as brutal as what I read from others crippled. thanks to the recommendations I read, I ordered the veggieburger as a wrap. very delicious. they were from the gluten-free vegan friendly crabs for dessert so a little damped, but overall a cute stop on our way to holland.
I was there recently as part of an apple picking orchard visit with kids and grand kid, and we waited about an hour to get in for lunch. They don't have a lot of vegan stuff, but what they do have is EXCELLENT. I had to wrangle with the idea of their own homemade garden burger or what I ended up having, which was a kick ass vegan wrap. I didn't need to make any substitutions with this the burger you'll need to leave the toppings off for the most part. But holy cow was that wrap good. And believe it or not, most of their pies are safe for vegans they only use margarine for the crust. I had a slice of rhubarb raspberry, and it was fantastic. The place is large and long once you're done dining, or if you want to skip dining, they have remodeled their pantry bakery in case you want to get your own pies in addition to other things that may be vegetarian friendly but not vegan . The apple butter bread is addictive. The pies you can get frozen or freshly baked. Prices are reasonable for what you get.
Didn't have honey crisp apples yet, but had other choices. They didn't seem to have dining room open. They had outdoor picnic tables. The food was more sandwich or dessert. You could buy pie and food to bake at home like pot pie, etc. They have a for sale sign out. It's a large orchard, so I hope someone grabs it up. It's an icon in the area and have always done a good business. Meal type: Other
