The restaurant tries to enhance the regional local kitchen. But the focus is on the show, not on the taste and on the eating experience. However, I can understand the cook. Sweet place in a quiet area. Welcoming and helpful service. We had lots of great food but the very best was the cod croquettes which were mouthwatering and literally melted in the mouth.
This place is a little hidden gem. We walked in without a reservation and since it was still fairly early, they were able to sit us down. The food was amazing, service was perfect and the prices were event better. I love finding little places like this!
Viantica is a small restaurant in a very small town that is absolutely worth a visit (or two in our case). We were seated outside in a cheerful white-washed dining area. Nice music was accompanied by exceptional service. The food was an absolute surprise. We would not have expected Michelin-star styled food in such a humble town. You must try their 7 course Viantica starter. We followed that with 2 brilliant pastas that are amongst the best that we have had anywhere. The dishes are visually playful. Fine dining without fine dining prices. This was a highlight of our week in Puglia.
Posto incantevole, arredato con molto Buon gusto....il tavolo vicino la finestra che guarda il piccolo aranceto colorato dalla boungaville qui sempre in fiore...di spalle il camino e tutt'intorno gli addobbi di Natale.. Un'atmosfera magica...e poi il cibo, il vino...tutto perfetto Grazie
La masseria Marzalossa è un posto davvero incantevole, immerso nel verde, con una struttura dalla portata storica davvero splendida. All’interno c’è il ristorante viantica che ospita i commensali in questo agrumeto splendido adiacente alla piscina. Io ci sono stata diverse volte tra agosto e settembre.Il personale è molto gentile, accettano animali. È il posto giusto per chi vuole passare una serata in perfetto relax. Se si arriva anche un po’ in anticipo si possono degustare degli ottimi cocktail e uno buon aperitivo (fritti e cose tipiche pugliesi).Veniamo al cibo: i primi sono sicuramente il pezzo forte del menu, lo sono anche la frittura dì pesce e le bombette. La vera nota dolente sono i dolci, consiglio vivamente di rivederli perché davvero rovinano l’esperienza culinaria.Ciononostante do Comunque stelle perchè il posto merita davvero ! Un altro piccolo consiglio aprite anche a pranzo in estate
