Original Review: I was excited to try this place, but not sure if I 'll return. It was sub par. I got 4 chicken tacos, 4 brisket tacos and two Mexican cokes. Basically meat thrown on a tortilla and a self serve condiment bar, which had your basic selections of cilantro, onions, jalapeños, etc... Response from owner: Yes! That 's basically what a taco is; meat thrown on a torrilla It 's a build/add your own around here. All our locals and every day customers love it! Won 't change it up to gourmet for a single non frequent customer, AND we don 't taco bell around here either. We work! We Mex! No gourmet tacos needed (not my style) but I 've had better street tacos from other hard working Mex. I 'll give them my business. Good luck to you from one of your locals. Food was mediocre at best, not nearly enough of it so we’re still hungry, poorly seasoned, and just vanilla. The service was also terrible, which of course made the atmosphere even worse. You have to be a special brand of individual to be so rude on a takeout order. If 0/5 stars was an option, that’s what this place would rank. I pulled into this authentic looking Taco Eatery last Friday during lunch time. The owner was warm and very welcoming and his son a complete gentleman for such a young man. Asked the son what he would recommend. Had three chicken taco’s they were out of this world. I am a health freek and am very caution about what I eat particularly about oil and such stuff. At J.C taco they make their food with all fresh ingredients and surprisingly no oil was noticed in their taco. I had to ask and got the same answer no oil Sir. Extremely reasonable. I must bring this up to our communities. Support your local mom and pop businesses other wise you will be suffering and so will your kids with bad and unhealthy food and will have all sorts of health problems. Support J.C Taco’s and let them expand to other neighborhoods that is what I do and support small deserving busiess owners. shout loud and every one shall try their food and let every one know in your circle of friends.
