I recently tried Wasabi Sushi Asian Grill in Fargo, and I absolutely loved it! The place itself is super inviting with a nice, contemporary feel. I went for the Red Dragon and Rainbow rolls, and both were stellar. What Patrick Hill doesn't like about Wasabi Sushi Asian Grill:
The food is less than expected. We had nigiri/sashimi combo, salad w/ ginger dressing, sweet potato vegetarian rolls, edamame and plum wine. The mixed green accompanying the nigiri was awful and wilted. It points to a kitchen that doesn’t care. There were only a few leaves of greens and they could have been left out! Friendly fast serves, great choices so glad we stopped in for a quick bite, they also have a cute little area in the back!
The 911 specialty roll and the lemon chicken were excellent!!!
I ordered a California roll (sushi) and chicken katsu. Both were very good. I definitely would eat there again.

Been coming to Wasabi for over a decade now. Moved far away from Fargo, but I always make sure I stop in when in town. Oh how I love and miss the Dakota roll! Apologies as my picture doesn't nearly do it justice but I didn't have the patience to take another one before crushing it. So good!
