Godly's Fish Chips - Fareham

Awful, I cannot believe they managed to make a cereal any less appealing. It is drier than Gandhi's flip flop.

Sausages are sweaty and cheaply tasting. chips seem like they've been sitting there for hours, tasteing bland and are dark in color. avoid softened in oil. don't waste your money

We haven't been for a while, this had always been our favourite take away fish and chip shop, not any more. The fish was so over cooked it was inedible, dry fish, concrete batter and dark brown chips. I should have taken it back, but...I really couldn't be bothered so I wrote this review instead. Needless to say, won't be going there again.

This fish and chip shop is convenient for me to visit but I haven't been for a long time because the fish and chips were bad but I came back late from a day out so decided to try again. The shop is always empty....It has more than enough room to put some table and chairs but it doesn't offer to eat in even though they could. The shop had just opened for the evening so I was confident of freshly cooked chips but when I got them home, they were hard and greasy and I feel sure they were last night's re-fried. The batter was sludgy and greasy and the fish paper thin. There were too many chips in a small portion (enough to feed an army) at a portion but if you order a cone at you get too little (about chips). No help at all for a person living on their own.

I used to always buy fish and chips here for myself and my grandmother. Unfortunately, she is no longer with us, but she loved these fish and chips. The owners of the restaurant are wonderful people.
