An unexpected pleasure in all respects. Very high standard of all food served, from salmon to steak and both interesting starters and puddings too. My Rotary Club went to Avenue 141 for dinner on Halloween. There were many of us dining that evening, and the restaurant had a special set menu for the occasion. The staff and students were dressed up in Halloween costumes to match the theme. We were greeted with a lovely aperitif and canapé, both of which were delicious. The restaurant was accommodating for any dietary restrictions. The devilled eggs and smoked salmon starter was tasty, and the pork chop with black pudding and mustard sauce main course was also excellent. For dessert, we enjoyed a smooth lemon posset with blackcurrant coulis, which was a refreshing end to the meal. Coffee was served with little meringue ghosts. The service was impeccable, especially considering some of the students were still in their first year of training. I personally can't wait to return and highly recommend trying Avenue 141. Be sure to make a reservation in advance.
It was our first ever visit to Avenue 141, having been recommended to us by friends previously. It was a brilliant experience with the service and standard of food absolutely excellent. The students serving us were very polite, attentive and had a great customer service attitude. The standard of the food was first class and we had a really enjoyable evening and would most definitely recommend it to anybody else thinking of somewhere different to haveca meal in the Fareham area.
We visited this restaurant for the first time since our son started his course in September 2022. I was impressed by the high quality of the food. It was truly delicious, expertly cooked and perfectly seasoned. I would definitely recommend a visit, especially considering the great value at £19.95 for a three-course meal.

Wonderful service and lovely tasty food very well presented on the plates. Smiles all round. Hard to believe they are still in training.
