I have the steak-n-cheese and pommes; hands down one of the best subs at all!!! It is very refreshing to have such a place that takes care of its customers and the appearance of their facility. But also their employees!! Thanks for a great experience!!!
Excellent lunch today and our waiter, Joe was excellent! Joe was very friendly, friendly and efficient. My steak salad was one of the best salads I ever had! Your restaurant is our favorite!
For years, my wife and have hoped that one day we were a “neighbor restaurant”, near home where we were treated more like friends than customers, where the food was at least passable, the prices reasonable, the service well where we had a glass of wine with dinner, and the atmosphere was comfortable. That we would eventually find such a place – and that it would be an Italian family restaurant, is beyond our wildest expectations. King’s New York Pizza in Falling Waters is all up with an exception: the food is REALLY GOOD. Sal Parziale, the general manager of this branch of the king's family chain, is a jewel. Born and raised in Italy, he understands Italian hospitality and demands the best of his employees. The food at King’s is traditional Italian – with a bow to Italian/American taste – but with flashes of authenticity that really impresses us. And we met in Italy and spent about five years there! Tonight Sal gave us some exciting news – in the near future he will add a wood-fired pizza oven and outdoor tables under parasols next to the parking lot. If you never had a real Neapolitan pizza from a wood stove, you did not really live! The smokiness of the wood makes something to the crust that is almost impossible to describe: “YUM”. We look forward to this addition with Relish. Sal insists that his employees treat guests as friends, and this shows in the service. Our favorite waiter “Chris”, originally from Indonesia, is a jewel. His smile is infectious and his service is impeccable. He is our “go-to” server. During each visit we hear servers that welcome customers with names, hug back friends and share smiles that can not only be sincere! I guess a real curmudgeon wouldn't stay in this area for long. I exaggerated to describe the food. The menu is extensive and we have only tried a handful of King's offers. Sufficient to say that the gnocchi with meat sauce would keep his head up in Rome on Thursday (an illusion that was probably lost to most readers). The sauce is reddish from good tomato base, well seasoned, and has only enough ground beef to make it interesting. Gnocchi would be welcomed in any Italian household. The penne with vodka sauce is spicy. The homemade bread is wonderful with a crispy crust and soft but non-drying center, and it is served with delicious herbal oil. Meatballs, Italian-American as Italian, are very good – moist, tasteful and satisfying. The spaghetti with fresh (big mussels in the shell would compete with anyone I ate in Italy. What do I suggest? Try King’s at 44 Worchester Drive in Falling Waters (behind the AC)
We had a group of 40 and the whole experience was excellent. We called the seats for our big group. When we arrived, the tables were ready for us. The waiter, Frank, took our drinks orders with the last name that paid very simply. The entire staff took care of us very well. The food was delicious with great portions. In any case, this restaurant recommends service, food and cleanliness.
We loved this place . We are from PA and drive down to WV every Thursday and this was our first time eating here . Our waiter was very courteous and kind , very attentive and quick . 10 stars if I could .
