Had the steak pie which was delicious, service and staff great, proper steak pie, none of your stew and pastry nonsense
Been a member at the Creamery for a few years, now, playing snooker roughly twice a month, but after a few interactions with a certain member of staff I 'm questioning paying a premium (and it is a premium compared to the quality of similarly priced tables at other clubs for a membership. Wanted to support local business and buy a new cue from my club, having in the back of my mind somewhere you get a discount of some sort (5% I thought . Mentioned this to the staff member who didn 't appreciate me asking, saying you don 't get discount but I suppose you can get it. Whilst waiting I noticed the club rules on the wall stating 10%. Happy days, mentioned that and got told where to go. No chance am I getting a 10% discount, I 'm lucky if I 'm getting anything! Couldn 't support the club on the back of what was a pretty angry reaction, and spent £190 on a cue elsewhere. Last month playing a game, middle of the first frame (4 or 5 reds left same staff member comes and lifts the balls off the table (mid game! , says this tables booked, yous need to move. No sorry , no lads after this game . Barges in and moves us. I 've been playing at a club in Cumbernauld and the tables are far superior and at a lower cost.
Whenever I return to my hometown I always make a point of dining here the meals are fantastic and great value would highly recommend this restaurant
Four of us visited on Friday evening for dinner. On arrival we were greeted by a young lady called Charlie. She had a warm, welcoming smile and although we had never met her before she looked really pleased to see us! That was a great start to the evening and we went on to have three different dishes from the menu. The fare was delicious, presented beautifully on our plates with no delay between courses. Special thanks to all staff for a lovely experience especially to Charlie for her excellence. She had great eye contact and first-class listening skills as we asked a dozen different questions! Her knowledge of available scotch whiskies in unrivalled! A great example of top class hospitality so well done, Charlie!
Have frequented the creamery for many many years, firstly because of the food and secondly because it’s local to me. The creamery is such a little hidden gem. From the outside it looks like your average pool hall (it is a snooker hall, pool hall and restaurant area but when you step in to the restaurant you would never know there are many people playing snooker and pool in the next rooms. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, enough space between tables and very well set up with friendly and knowledgable staff. The menu is great and really does have something for everyone as well as specials of the day/week. But the food is the star of the show, delicious! And as a large family we all have our personal favourite. The homemade steak pie is a big hit with some while most of the family love the fish and chips, great sized portions and all cooked fresh! My personal favourite has got to be the Cajun chicken with Cajun sauce (if you haven’t tried the sauce you really need to! I have a 14 and a 5 year old and the creamery is both their favourite restaurant to go to. Kids menu is perfect, again something for everyone. We also gave a vegetarian in our party and she is always happy and has choices. 10/10 always. If you haven’t visited you really should, you won’t regret it. Also to mention there is a fully stocked bar with a fairly new addition of cocktails which look incredible but I’m yet to try.
