What a sweet place!! It was a very busy Saturday morning, but we could sit directly on the switch. Unfortunately no alcohol (I had a Hankering for a **** Mary) but the waitress said they were working on getting an alcohol license. It was so busy working with so many people working in the kitchen and in the dining room and it was a well oiled machine. I had the hangover breakfast that was home friend, eggs (I got poac... This used to be great! I have spent a ton of money eating here since it opened. Recently in about the last three months the food has gone downhill. Portions are smaller, less of the good stuff. One of my favorites was the Strawberry cheesecake pancake. It looked so great coming out so I took a picture of it, and I'm glad I did. Fast forward to this week. This was about the third time in a row portions kept getting sm... View all feedback.
Today I had brunch with some staff. I had the Full English Frittata which has some mushrooms, eggs, sausage, cheese, etc in it and had some toast with it. I felt fancy with this dish and it was delicious and I'd love to come back to have it again andeven more things One staff had Potato pancakes with sourcream and applesauce. Not sure what culture that is but that's whatthey had it with and I tasted some and it was pretty good. Knew they had some onion in it or garlic not sure which one and oh myit was huuuuuge! Definitely for that one I'd say: Don't knock it till ya try it And the other 2 staff had the Steve Special. One had it with waffle and the other with pancake. And thy got bacon and or sausage patties and scrambled eggs. Great placeoverall. If you want brunch that's the place for you too and you get your money's worth and more . I shall also note that it'svery busy in there too but u get your food quickly though. Thank you @originalstevesdinerfairport
What a cute place!! It was a very busy Saturday morning but we were able to sit right away at the counter. Unfortunately no alcohol (I had a hankering for a bloody mary) but the waitress said they were working on getting a liquor license. It was sobusy, with so many people working in the kitchen and in the dining room and it was a well oiled machine. I had the hangoverbreakfast which was home friend, eggs (I got poached), chili, cheese and a side of toast. I could?ve done without the beans inthe chili but to each his own. My husband had the dumpster which is basically a garbage plate with eggs and he was very pleased. The love cakes look huge and amazing, as so their many Beni?s so those are on my list for our return. Highly recommend, anddefinitely bring your kids here!
Wow, this place is AMAZING!!! Yes, the pancakes are bigger than your head!!! They even come in a gluten free version!!! Service was great and worth the short wait.
I'm picky with pancakes. They have awesome pancakes. Nice, fluffy and cake like. Biggest variety to pick from including gluten free. I was pleasantly surprised with Irish cream creamers for my coffee. Scrambled eggs are on the dry side but still good. Idon't care for the hash browns but my husband likes them. They are very popular and can have a longer wait time. Pagers workoutside in your car if you prefer to wait there or stop in one of the other shops. My pager worked in Sew Creative. It isdefinitely worth the wait. Friendly staff.
Wonderful service and excellent food! I had their Irish Benedict and both the corned beef hash and hollandaise sauce were AMAZING! Plus that massive pancake! Would definitely recommend as a Sunday Brunch Location ????
