Their delicious food, such as the outstanding chicken featured in their Korean-inspired dishes, makes it a must-try spot for any fried chicken enthusiast. Customers rave about the bulgogi, crispy chicken, and flavorful bibimbap. The Bonchon location reviewed here has consistently provided a great dining experience, offering a wide variety of Korean dishes beyond just fried chicken. Friendly servers and a great menu selection make it a top choice for those seeking authentic Korean cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
I love trying new places. We had the drumsticks, korean chicken tacos, bulgogi, and the Bibimbap. I would start with the drumsticks they are crunchy juicy and flavorful, the korean chicken tacos had the right amount of spice. The Bulgogi stake was my 2nd favorite the sesame just brought the dish together. My least favorite was the Bibimbap although the presentation was good it lacked flavor in comparison to the other dishes one some of the Bulgogi stake was mixed with the Bibimbap it elevated the dish. I will definitely go back to try the other dishes in the menu.
This has always been my go to place for Korean fried chicken. The chicken is always fresh, tender, crispy, and available with various delicious sauces. For a mix up, I tried the bulgogi (thin marinated pieces of ribeye served with a sauce, mushrooms, sesame seeds, and onions along with a side of rice. I was very impressed. Additionally, Bonhcon has a nice mix appetizers and sides. Great place, no complaints.
The spicy chicken is delicious and so perfectly crispy. I also had a japchae and really enjoyed it as well. The staff was super sweet and came by to check in often which was nice since we were outside in the very corner.
I want to start off with, if you never been to a Bonchon, this location isn’t a bad place to start. I primarily had my experiences with Korean fried chicken in K-Town NYC. Knowing this location saves me from NYC parking and traffic, I opt for this location time and time again. This location has been super consistent and always makes amazing chicken which led me to try the other options on the menu. The bibimbap was generously portioned and had great flavor. The cauldron it came in hardened the rice as it heated it through which made this a crunchy treat. I’ve also had the Korean tacos along with the pork buns. I have to stick with the pork buns because they are probably the most underrated item on the menu but so so good!! If you’re looking for some Korean fried chicken, this is the place to go. Make sure you go hungry!!!
This was our first time trying Korean food and I must say it was very good.
