What User doesn't like about Fairfax Scoop:
I’ve loved the scoop and been a loyal customer for years because of the quality organic ice cream and amazing GF cones. However, I had to actually walk out of the ice cream shop today because of the terrible customer service. The man behind the counter tonight was rude and unprofessional. This experience does not make me want to return, which is a shame because I really did love the Scoop. View all feedback.
Great ice cream! And an incredible nice guy who served us his delicious ice cream! Everyone in my family was happy about their flavors! Definitely coming back!
DELICIOUS. Homemade cones not overwhelming list of flavors. Pro tip: get the double in a waffle cup (I didn’t)
When friends visit Colorado, they often make a trip to our quaint village of Fairfax to visit Scoop. My best friend, who is also vegan and lives in town, and I have a standing date to meet at Scoop for a scoop of ice cream before I go for a hike in the hills. Scoop prides itself on using organic and natural ingredients; you won't find any artificial additives in their ice cream. They always have two vegan flavors available, typically a creamy coconut and a sorbet, and you can get a small serving with both flavors. The small size is perfect for a single portion, and you get to enjoy both flavors for a reasonable price. I used to bring my own container to Scoop for them to fill, but unfortunately, due to Covid, that is no longer an option. The staff at Scoop are friendly and it's easy to strike up a conversation with them. Despite being a small business, Scoop is always busy, with lines often stretching from the door and around the block, even in cold weather.
The ice cream at this place is delicious, with seasonal flavors that are constantly changing. They always have a vegan option available, as well as sorbet. Be prepared for long lines, especially on days when the ice cream is particularly popular.
Hey friends! Have you tried the amazing waffle cones at Scoop? Guess what - they're vegan! It's been 7 years since I went vegan, and I regret not supporting my favorite ice cream shop more often. I used to stop by after hikes with my dog (who always got a kid's scoop), and now I can keep that tradition alive. Their peach sorbet and vegan cookies and cream blew me away this weekend. Dreams really do come true.
