I had an excellent experience at this restaurant, with outstanding customer service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. The chips and salsa were fantastic, and there are plenty of drink options to choose from. I highly recommend trying the chicken nachos and the fajitas! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gallo's Mexican:
The mixed pomegranate was overly watery, and my friend Rohbeef found something unexpected in her enchilada. I also discovered random chips under my steak fajita tacos, along with some stray chorizo. Overall, I’m glad I won’t be returning. To top it off, our waitress was quite rude. View all feedback.
OMG! The best enchilada I've ever had. Spinach Enchilada! They add their own special sauce on it is soooo good! I also had the Halibut Taco, which was also very tasty! I took a photo after eating one. It comes on the plate more beautiful than what my picture shows.
Excellent customer service, good food and open late. The chips and salsa are great and they have a variety of drink options. I recommend the chicken chipotle and the fajitas.
I was comfy, warm and I ordered the special. The people at the bar were obscenely loud, so that was an atmospheric effect on my meal. The special was yummy, the chips were good. Nice service, big huge inside space with comfy booths. I would return, just earlier in the day. This is one of the few places that is open really late (11pm) in Fairbanks. If you are into watching a game while eating, there are HUGE TVs up high, everywhere.
Food looked delicious, but was very bland. Had 2 margaritas. 1 frozen, 1 OTR, both were terrible. Flavorless and not enough alcohol.
Stopped by here on way to the airport after a two month stay in Fairbanks. I?ve driven by it a bunch of times but never stopped in. Glad I did. I ordered the chicken chimi and it was pretty good. The vibrant scene inside is very colorful and reminds you of some of the south west lower 48s eateries. The salsa is really good and the beans and rice were good as well. The service was great and food reasonably priced for Alaska. The only down side, because there are no sound absorbing things in the restaurant, it is really loud. Would come back though.
