Eddington's Of Exeter

This is the best little hidden gem around. We are so fortunate to have such a fantastic restaurant so close that works hard at serving farm to table memories thank you James, Megan and staff.

First the online reservation process is easy efficient. We celebrated a family Birthday and appreciated the welcoming card on our table when we arrived. Our Server was excellent, competently taking our orders, serving everything in a timely fashion and ensuring it was satisfactory. Everything from drinks to appetizers, entree dessert flowed smoothly. She was professional helpful without hovering. All in all a very enjoyable evening.

Warmly greeted and seated followed with immediate table service and overview of menu followed with cocktails. Service is friendly and timely. No rushing no delays. Food is hot and fresh brought to the table in unison with other guests. Great menu options. Excellent platter presentation. Food does not disappoint... fresh and flavourful, not over salted (had the Korean Bowl w/ shrimp). Wine selection is superb by the bottle. Price is fair and of value. Goodbyes at the door excellent customer service!

Took my husband for his birthday dinner. Had a handwritten card on the table congratulating him on his birthday from the restaurant team which was really a nice touch also got a candle in his desert. It was pretty quiet with only a few tables being occupied but it was a Wednesday evening. Although the menu is small the food was absolutely outstanding and covered something for all tastes. I have been here in warmer months and had a table outside which was also very pleasant. Definitely worth the visit. We will be back.

As always, Eddington's delighted me with my favourite cocktail, Paper Plane, a lovely soup (every day their soup is outstanding) and my entree was a Smash Burger, a newer item that I hadn't tried. Every bite and sip was delicious! Can't recommend Eddington's highly enough!
