Uma noite memorável. Estávamos viajando o dia todo e apreciamos a excelente comida e o serviço simpático e prestativo. Voltaria em um piscar de olhos!

I spend about 10 days in Portugal with a group and this place was almost a unanimity: best place we ate at the entire trip. The place is a hidden gem, food is excellent, service with a local flavor.

We ate here on a Sunday as many other places were closed and it was near our accommodation. The young lady serving us was very nice. The table was laid with proper linen table cloths and napkins and the food was excellent. The wine was good too. Our reason for only 4 stats was that it was on the expensive side compared to other similar restaurants e.g. bottle of water was €5. Other than that it was most enjoyable.

Luar de Janeiro is a small, lovely restaurant serving delicious Portuguese food. Our starters included mushrooms, tomato salad, rabbit, cheese and olives all delicious! The service was excellent.
