What Chocadyllic doesn't like about Mercador Do Pao:
Stepped into this cafe after reading the reviews here about big generous sandwiches. The soup was warm they heated it up more when asked but it was bland. The hamburger my husband had was terrible. The chips were nice enough. The best thing about my meal was the pork sandwich which was quite tasty and fresh and saved a one star review. Friendly staff and quiet to eat in but honestly don't bother. View all feedback.

While we didn't order anything terribly unique (a tomato and cheese sandwich and a ham and cheese) they were delicious. Extremely fresh on a perfect baguette, with friendly service. The restaurant had a wide variety of options on the menu, including soups, hamburgers and sides. While we stuck to the basic sandwiches they were delicious and serviced with warmth and friendliness. Would highly recommend for lunch of light dinner when in Evora!
Had their version of a BLT. Very good and a expresso and a pastry all for under 5€. Great for a budget/student/family friendly.
Basic, very good value for the money, very kind service and very tasty light soup and sandwiches. I like go for a little dinner and wit no regrets I was there for the two lovely nights I spent in the beautiful Evora. Highly recommended.
Go fir the grilled pork sandwich. Delicious! Also salad is big! Very pleased with everything. So many locals are here too
