Maya's Cantina Grill - Evergreen

This was a fabulous experience in more than one! We have for Evergreen with the intention to eat here for lunch as it seems the only game in the city for Mexican food. On arrival we found the dining room closed, but the Cantina was in operation. We thought... Hesitant, we went to the tight Cantina and we are immediately and cordially greeted by Laurelyn from behind the bar, who said she was the only one who works and we should be patient. Okay. She then brought us the menus and we were glad that it was the complete menu! Yeah, no pub duck! I had prepared the Shrimp Tacos and my wife had a mushroom quesadilla from a well-stocked kitchen! Both plates were well prepared and the food was excellent. The place is warm, well decorated, comfortable and well worth the ride in Evergreen. And because Laurelyn was the only server that was the duty for the entire Cantina, it rocked!

The food was excellent and more than I could eat. The service was beyond the comparison. The cake to complete it made it a special event. If you weren't here, you should be. They help to make our 30th anniversary special, although it was a bit early.

What can I say? Big little Mexican restaurant in one of the coolest cities. The vegetarian tacos were great. Truly, the whole food was delicious and the service was excellent. If ever in Evergreen, CO again, definitely back!

Went here we had the most amazing bartender, Christina, who intro’d us to here new invention, A hibiscus Margarita! A keeper! Great vibe and bar!

Dropped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Food was delicious! Ordered the Swiss enchiladas and my husband ordered tacos. Highly recommend! The owner was extremely nice! They are short staff so you’ll have to wait a little while for service but totally worth it!
