View all feedback.
What Alexandre Gaspar doesn't like about As Fontes Do Horacio:
The restaurant looks quite good. Parking wasn't greatt and we had to park quite far. Although we didn't pre-book, we waited 30 minutes to be seated, 30 minutes after we ordered we received the first starter. About 1h after we had the main, with a...few mistakes that were quickly rectified by the staff, food portion and quality is quite good. Unfortunately the waiting time is the bummer View all feedback.

We were greeted by Victor who looked after us all evening. Victor was the perfect balance of attention and discretion. The food was fantastic. Grilled squid for me and kebab for my better half. Both incredibly tasty and the kebab was enormous so I got...to eat some of it too!! The house red wine was Superb doe just €10 and the whole thing was fantastic value. When we arrived with 10 minutes of Portugal v Hungary to go it was nil nil and by the final whistle it was 3-0 Portugal so we were a bit of a lucky charm. Back on Friday foe more great food and wine and hopefully England spanking Scotland
The food is always fresh and it is very good value for money. The very best inexpensive restaurant on the island, in my opinion.
Never a bad meal here this place is amazing. We live here on the island and we visit at least once a week. Great value for money and excellent quality. Victor is fantastic and looks after the customers with care. We take all our customers...there and everyone loves it. Portions are generous, if your a big eater your happy but for those with smaller appieties they are happy to do sharing plates. What every you want they will do everything to accomodate. Their lunch time specials at just 7 euros can not be beaten. This is a place you must dine at. its popular with the locals so that tells you everything!! Flipper II Madeira Big Game Fishing says Go Eat Here Its Amazing!! 5*
Excellent food, with generous portions. Excellent service. Very good value. We had the Mixed grill. The portion was double the size that we receive in other restaurants and half the price of the regular Tourist establishments. This is primarily a locals Restaurant, because it is...located on the Reginal road, not the sea front. But it is an excellent location if staying on the Loreto Arco or Prazares area. The wide Terrace at the front looks out over a valley below, towards the sea. So very relaxing and pleasant surroundings. The staff also speak good English. The presentation and style of operation, is professional.
