If you’re looking for gluten free and vegan breakfast options anywhere, it’s best to lower your expectations. I was excited to visit Organic Caffe as it’s attached to the Palacial Hotel, however the food was a bit dull and not the special experience I’d imagined. The menu is well signposted for intolerances and there are a handful of options and lots of different milks to choose from, which is a pretty good result if... View all feedback.
What Vijay P doesn't like about Palácio Estoril Organic Caffè:
I took the time to reserve and confirm seeing as my wife has food allergies, and they still served her eggs with bread with gluten. Seriously, overpriced, uncooked food. I ordered a set menu and had to remind them that it came with a coffee and dessert, i had to ask for my coffee twice, it came after the meal. We were served our plates at separate times. Nothing to write home about though!

We had to wait more than 15min just for the waiter to bring the menus and there were only 3 tables with people that had finished eating. We were told the kitchen was closed but they could serve toasts and wraps. We asked 2 toasts and 2 juices. Juices came quickly. Two simple ham and cheese toasts took 40min!!! I said I had to leave and they asked to wait couple more minutes and that was the moment they were putting the toasts in the toaster. I ended up asking to take the food in a box because I was late for an appointment. Unbelievable that I sat down at 3pm and got 2 toasts after 4pm…
I wanted a fresh and light lunch and this place was perfect for it. This cafe is part of our hotel but just the next building over. Waiter was spoke English well and friendly. My chicken wrap was tasty and what I wanted.
Very disappointed. I went here with two other people for my birthday. We arrived at 11h40 and as soon as we sat down, the waiter told us the brunch had ended at 11h30, and that they would only serve toast and coffee. I asked if they could make an exception, but she said it wasn’t possible. We understood and reluctantly stayed but waited about 10 minutes for her to come back to the table and take our order. She didn’t come, and the place wasn’t full, so this was not a good behaviour for a waiter, therefore we left and went somewhere instead, where we were served a great brunch. Very sad because I had been eager to go to this place and after this experience, I probably won’t be coming back and don’t recommend it to anyone.
