You won 't find hospitality decency communication here. During a hike we wanted to stop in the ErnerGarten to get something to eat. Various Signs saying 'open ' led us to the restaurant. While we were getting our children 's warm clothes in the entrance area with a cloakroom, a young guy with a dirty hoodie locked the door?! It was obvious that we wanted to visit the restaurant. In addition, all the signs indicating the opening times on the door and the couple dining at the table indicated that it was open. If this isn 't the case, you could have at least said something other than silently and secretly locking the door very weak idea.
Good service, bland food. While the restaurant is nice, it seems the kitchen had a really bad evening. Food was very uninspired and bland, worst was the dry chicken with very little sauce and tasteless chick pea purée. The fruit pie for dessert was nice and service was friendly and attentive.
The location is nice and pleasant and the waiters are very nice, friendly and attentive to customer needs. Some dishes are a little too revised in my opinion: I'm Italian and I know how pasta should be made, and in this restaurant... But if I had wanted a well-made pasta dish I would have stayed in Italy (I didn't have the pasta but they put it as a side dish in a dish I ordered). In any case all the dishes were good. The place is a bit too expensive, as is Switzerland in general.
Leider hat Spitzenkoch Klaus Leuenberger das Restaurant verlassen. Die Küche ist nurmehr mittelmässig: wenig inspiriert und wenigstens ungerecht. Der Service ist gut – das Ambiente stimmt: Der Raum ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sogar die Covid-19-Massnahmen sind hübsch anzusehen.
Wir waren von ein paar Tagen im Restaurant ErnerGarten.Das neue Konzept ist hervorragend, man wird jeden Abend überrascht von einem neuen Menü. Gerne kann man zwischen Fleisch und Vegetarisch auswählen, beide Menüs haben unseren Geschmack getroffen.Die Küche kann man fast nicht mehr übertreffen. Geschmacklich war es der Wahnsinn und für uns als Genuss Esser ein Gaumenschmaus.Die Besitzer schauen auf regionale, saisonale und Bioprodukte, dies ist sehr Nachhaltig und bewundernswert.Zudem ist das Servicepersonal aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr kompetent.Der Aufenthalt war grandios und man fühlte sich sehr wohl und umsorgt von jedem Mitarbeiter.Es war sicher nicht der letzte Besuch im Restaurant ErnerGarten und BerglandHof Hotel.Vielen Dank für alles bis auf ein anderes Mal!!!
