I used an application to find this hotel to park for my week trip all over. When I arrived it looked like a regular holiday inn but once I stepped inside it was a Wow factor the decore and lobby are very nice and the staff were great ity was so east to show my barcode give the front desk person my name and then she said I could park wherever. I did, and I got on my shuttle, and everything went as planned. If this rev... View all feedback.
What Darlene B doesn't like about Mckenna’s:
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel, on our way to Maryville, TN . This hotel was a last minute booking change, and was ok for an overnight stay. The room was adequate, greatful for late checkin, as it was well after check in hours. Eric took great care of us, with check us in late, informing us of events happening in area. The main drawback of the hotel was the smokey smell in the hallways, and sound of planes f... View all feedback.
The best way to experience this hotel is to turn around and go somewhere else. At first glance, seems mediocre but with a closer look, it's in pretty rough shape. All the hallway floors are dirty with crumbs. Walls are stained. Elevators were full of smudges. Signage is outdated. And then we get to the room they put us in....the pull out couch mattress was a scene from a scary movie, full of questionable stains. The floors were gross with all kinds of food and crumbs. Walls very marked up and stained. Wood is all scratched up. We got moved into a new room after addressing the issues. Next room was a very slight upgrade. But the shower had some weird gross stuff in it. Needless to say, I would not recommend this place to my enemy.
PROS: The staff was the best part of this stay, and it is only 7 minutes to the airport. Front desk staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the waitress at breakfast was also very sweet. The FREE shuttle to the airport was prompt and our driver Cory was friendly and fun. The room was only $130, so that is also a plus. Breakfast was included (buffet) scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, French toast, oatmeal, fruit, cereal, yogurt, bagels. CONS: The decor is dated (lots of browns and dark maroons), and the rooms are really dark. The bottom floor had a musty, cigarette smell, and the rooms were just stale musty air. The walls are PAPER THIN. I heard the couple next door's entire conversation and their TV, the woman upstairs and her crying child, and people in the hallway walking to their rooms. The bed is also not comfy it felt like a college dorm bed, and I think they were double size, not queen, so if you are traveling with a companion, it's smaller than expected. The towel rack in my room was broken

The main drawback of the hotel was the smokey smell in the hallways, and sound of planes from airport. The pillows were horrible and bed was not as comfy as anticipated. For those looking for a hotel close to airport, thats larger, or meeting rooms, pool, fitness center highly recommended for that.
This property needs a makeover. Horrible access for individuals with mobility difficulties. Access doors to enter the building were broken and extremely difficult to use. The lighting outside was very dimly lit and I felt uneasy. Not a good vibe at all!! The building looks run down inside and out. The outside needs power washing, just looks dirty and worn out. The inside needs major attention. In desperate need of a deep cleaning. Old and worn carpet and furniture. I know it's not a 5 star resort, but it can be better... I do not recommend
