They definitely prefer the local trade... read more We went here by recommendation of our hotel. It was just around the corner to it. Having read other reviews I can agree. They definitely prefer the local trade and tourists seem unwanted. We had a coffee and ice cream snickers and cherry both of which were excellent. When we came to pay we were shocked to be charged 15.50 euros! We wouldn’t go back... there are other places with good ice cream that are pleased to serve you as well!

Also the... read more Coffe and cakes were v nice but the cashier was very unhelpful and unfriendly surprising as that has not been our experience in sorrento area to date. Also the pricing was definitely off €3 for coffee and €4 for nice piece of cake but you could buy and takeaway for €1.50. It's at entrance to Herculaneum so not surprising big of tourist trap. Maybe near these in mind I thought that there maybe a dual price system one for local and other for not so local.
