The staff are all incredibly fri... read more I absolutely love the old Moat Garden Centre. It's one of my favorite places to visit. They have a garden area, shop, and café. The staff are all incredibly friendly, dogs are welcome, and I highly recommend this place. Not only is it a fantastic place to visit, but they also support mental health charities, which I think is wonderful. I love it here.

The added... read more We visit the Old Moat restaurant 2-3 times a week and absolutely love it! The staff are always friendly and dining in the café is a lovely experience. The added bonus is that they are dog-friendly. Our three dogs start getting excited as soon as we arrive because they know they will be treated to a tasty and warm meal. The restaurant has a strong sense of community and I would recommend it to anyone.

Instead, we decided to explore a garden center nearby and it turned out to be time well spent! The center had a wide variety of beautiful small items for the home and garden, including gifts, ceramics, and furniture. There was plenty of parking available in front of the place, and we noticed there was also a walled garden that we did not have a chance to visit.
