Eat is nice. but after the third time, I was not always waiting for food. Last time we waited two hours to get our food.
Not one for writing reviews but I’ve been so impressed that I feel people need to know and this business needs to get the praise they deserve as it’s very rare now to find a place that can absolutely smash a first visit, a visit on a extremely busy night and a home delivery with ice cream which was delivered in one piece and still ice cream. Their food is amazing, their staff are polite and just what you would expect and their delivery time wasn’t long at all and the driver was polite and happy. So happy to find somewhere great and would highly recommend to everyone, see for yourself!! Also what a great menu, so so many different choices to suit everyone! And I’d defo recommend the flake and Ferraro ice cream.. better than a desert place!
My family and I decided to try Surrey Palace for the first time for a birthday dinner after hearing great reviews from some family members who are regulars. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The restaurant seemed overwhelmed with delivery orders, causing a long wait before we could even place our order. After waiting 2.5 hours for our mains, we found the food to be either overly salty or dry. There were also mistakes with our orders and a missing item. Unlike most restaurants, we did not receive a free drink as a gesture of goodwill. The staff did not seem concerned about our negative experience, and we were eager to leave. Overall, I will not be returning to Surrey Palace anytime soon.
Back home in the uk for a weekend staying with friends and craving a good English curry. This restaurant didn’t let us down. The service was very friendly and the food, fantastic!!! I would highly recommend it
