Had this place for the first time today. One of the best burritos I?ve ever had! The fire sauce is wonderful, but one of the hottest I?ve had. Wonderful, fresh Ingredients- they do prefer cash but will accept a card. I?ll be coming here from now on.Great spot in Ennis! View all feedback.
What Brittany C doesn't like about The Salty Lime Taqueria:
I was craving a burrito and just recently moved to Ennis. I was going for a more traditional Mexican flavor, but while this burrito was okay, I didn't really like it. The best way I can describe it is if someone not from the culture tried to make a fancy chicken burrito using different cheese or something. It had a tang to it I didn't like. I placed a mobile order and still had to wait a bit, but the staff were frien... View all feedback.

My family can?t get enough of this place! The food is the best in town, and so is the customer service. They know our order when we walk in the door. Our food is always made to order and is served hot. My favorite side here is the freshly madeguacamole! My favorite tacos are the beef on corn tortillas. You definitely taste the difference here, everything is fresh andlocally sourced.
You guys have to try The Salty Lime! One of my favorite things about this family business is how much they care about using organic, non GMO, grass fed/finished beef, and finding locally sourced foods for their menu. Their seating is cozy, clean, andwelcoming. We are such frequent customers that the owners know our order by heart! I have dreams about the Al Pastor tacos Iorder. I can't even describe the flavor but it's spicy, and slightly sweet with the pineapple juice. It's amazing. My husbandsgo-to order is the burrito with double meat. It's a huge burrito but so filling and delicious. He could eat it every day and bea happy man. They have a selection of sauces to top your meals ranging in spice level. My favorite is the light green sauce, while my husband has been slowly building up his tolerance to the extra spicy sauce. The guacamole is some of the best I've everhad and the refried beans are just so authentic and delicious. They also may or may not have the gluten free cheesecake when youcome. It usually sells out really fast but you don't want to miss it! Go check it out, you won't be disappointed!
My wife, uncle, aunt and son were all food poisoned from here a few weeks ago. We've eaten here 4 times and saw that the bowls are actually PRE-MADE and not prepared in front of you, for a reason. We came in and I told my wife it smelled like rotten meatreally bad. Despite the smell, we ordered anyways and I think my nose was right, the food was probably old and meat wasrotten. We were all sick for 6 days. About a week later, a few days ago, my friend also got sick from here. And, I heard of alot of others also getting sick ???? They are extremely overpriced, $18 for 1 bowl, a drink and... you have to pay $1 more ifyou want salsa I know of about 30 people who will NEVER return here, and now you can add about 10 more from our family tothat list. People in Ennis need to know that this cannot keep happening, someone is going to get TOO sick and end up withserious issues. Highly recommend AVOIDING this particular Ennis Restaurant when visiting or if you are a resident Good luckfor you and yours if you decide to go there anyways!
