Playa bowl was an absolute soup consistency and on top of that the staff seems annoyed to even be there working. Terrible food serving quality, customer service and on top of that $13! Mind blowing…. Save your money and either go to a better location or make your own at home.

They forgot to label which was which, so I took one and they... read more Picked up 2 of the same bowls on Sunday one was to have gluten free granola and the other wasn 't. They forgot to label which was which, so I took one and they remade another that would have gluten free granola. They went to put it back in the bag again after it was made and it was unlabeled... I asked for a label and noticed that they added cacao nibs and walnuts even though I requested to have it without them because I do not care for them. After waiting for my bowl to be remade the first time, I decided to just take it wrong because they didn 't seem too thrilled to make another one. I was told I could just scoop it off the top . Considering I paid for these, it would have been nice to have them the way I ordered them. I was frustrated already at this point. Then, to top it all off I went home and decided to try it even though I was unhappy with it and chewed on a piece of hard rubber/or plastic that came from inside of my bowl. I sent an email immediately on Sunday no response. Sent another one Monday still not response. Absolutely terrible that no one would reach out to me to make this right after this horrible experience.

I love how they offer different bases and the ambiance of the establishment. It?s all not costly at all which is a plus nowadays!

It's evident that management is actively listening to feedback... read more I’m updating my review after having two positive experiences at this location in the past month. It's evident that management is actively listening to feedback from loyal customers. The team reached out to me, took my comments seriously, and I can genuinely see improvements. I'm pleased with how everything has been managed during this time. Previously, I expressed my concerns about the inconsistency in their offerings. During the summer, it felt like they were excelling and providing top-notch customer service. However, I’ve noticed that it has been challenging for them to maintain that level of quality recently. For instance, one day my bowl is overflowing, and the next it's an inch below the rim. It’s hard to justify spending $12 each visit when I can’t rely on consistent portion sizes for that price. The staff is always friendly, but there seems to be a lack of training and sufficient personnel to keep the business running smoothly. I’ve attached two pictures from different visits within the same month to illustrate this inconsistency I've experienced since summer ended. Here’s my earlier review: I had a fantastic experience every time I visited. The power bowl never let me down, and I happily consider myself addicted!

I’ve spent hundreds of dollars here for myself and my family, but they never get the order right—items are always missing or completely wrong. I just received my last order from them, and here’s why: the kale was poorly blended, looking off, but the worst part was that both the pineapple and mango chunks were soggy and sour—basically bad fruit. Honestly, I’m surprised no one has gotten sick. I honestly can’t understand how this place has a 4.5 rating.

Since it... read more The wait time can be quite long, but they do have a sign at the counter advising it's easier to order online and pick up later (around 20-30 minutes). Since it was my first time at any Playa Bowls location, I wasn’t aware of that. They have a huge menu with so many options and bowl combinations. I wish the menu provided more details or had pictures because, as a first-timer, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. That said, the bowl and smoothie I tried were fantastic! I had their new fall pumpkin spice smoothie, and it was delicious!
