The food was outstanding, and the waitstaff was fantastic. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset with friends. While it can be a bit pricey for regular visits, it's definitely a lovely place to go. View all feedback.
What Carol Rafferty Laps doesn't like about Gulf View Grill:
Despite having made reservations, the service we received was lackluster at best. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations either. I ordered a filet that was so heavily marinated in rosemary that it completely overwhelmed the flavor of the meat. The baked potato was waxy, and the asparagus was dry and lacked any seasoning. The calamari was mediocre and served lukewarm, while my husband's pasta, accompani... View all feedback.
We and our visiting friends from up North enjoyed a delicious meal and sunset then came downstairs where we enjoyed great music, thank you Waverly
HORRIBLE! My mom’s ladies group went for lunch today (with reservations) at 1:30, got served finally at 2:30 and it was an absolutely inedible grouper plate, supposed to be hot but stone cold and not at all fresh. They charged her half price for the horrible lunch. They should have charge NOTHING. She couldn’t eat it any of it! So since her nutrition is vitally important, she ate in her own kitchen when she got home. Some ladies luncheon. Others were also very dissatisfied too. Awful!
Ate downstairs service was decent the food was mediocre but it was extremely overpriced. Will not be going back.
One of the worst meals I’ve ever been served. So bad on our exit I walked into the kitchen and handed our boxed prime rib leftovers to the chef and told him to try and eat this ****. I rarely complain about anything so really out of character for me. Use to love the place when it was gulf view. Never going back.
Overpriced, horrible service (staff is friendly—just WAY too few of them! . Food has gone from bad to worse. Management just completely unprepared to handle the crowds at a beachfront location in season.
