It serves some of the best sushi I have ever eaten. The fish is extremely fresh and the light sauces they use are both inventive and delicious. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I have visited twice and both experiences were unforgettable. I am looking forward to trying the pasta bar next door!

The atmosphere was very intimate and the chefs were extremely skilled in the art of sushi, with extensive knowledge of the fish and ingredients they use. They were able to explain where each ingredient came from in Japan, why they chose it for that particular season, and the meticulous preparation that went into each dish. While it may be considered expensive, it is definitely worth it for the quality you receive. It is truly a one-of-a-kind dining experience. I can't wait to visit their location in Zederbach, Texas.

Housed in an old restaurant building, Sushi|Bar aims to provide its customers with a trendy and unique culinary experience, reflected in the small portions they serve. Quality fresh fish and homemade sauces come at a price. After navigating through a maze of back rooms and abandoned kitchens, diners will find themselves in a cozy room with an intimate sushi bar that resembles a hidden gem in Kyoto, Japan. The 17-course menu may leave diners feeling full, but the bite-sized portions, expertly crafted by three chefs, may leave them wanting more. In conclusion, the fish is fresh and flavorful, with some enjoyable surprises. However, be prepared to pay around $250 per person for the omakase experience. While I later spent the same amount at my favorite sushi spot and ate like royalty, at Sushi|Bar, diners pay for the experience, not just the food.

Make reservations well in advance since they only seat 8-10 people per seating. There is a dedicated bartender for the seating so I would recommend the sake and cocktail pairing for an additional $85. Fresh, delicious, unique. Well worth the expense.
