I was surprised by the reviews I read here. Our visit to this restaurant was wonderful; the food was delicious, and the staff were kind to my little girl. It's not the cheapest place to eat, but then again, that's typical for highway service stops. View all feedback.
What Clive Gollings doesn't like about Fresh Food Cafe:
The food was terrible. The toast was moldy, and the dishes were served cold. The coffee was lukewarm and not even a full cup! A tall young man working at the hatch wasn’t wearing a hairnet, which is not acceptable. Food was cold they gave me scammbed egg I asked about wee is Fry egg they can't do it told getting fresh food just put in micawave they did then still cold so rubbish stay clear
Food cold, sent back twice. Was not informed at time of ordering no fried eggs available. Expect good food when paying a high price for the items.
1 person serving; 1 person cooking. Person serving also delivering to tables. Unbelievably slow. Nobody seems to care about the queue of people waiting for their food.
Didn't eat here and glad I didn't from the reviews. Whilst standing in the queue, the server complained about my 2 year old making too much noise. She was actually crying because she was hungry and the service was sloooow. I really hope this horrible man doesn't have the experience I had with his own children. Horrible, horrible man.
