This is the first time I'd been in a couple of years, don't know why I waited so long. The food is great (we had the banquet for 2) and reasonably priced too. I won't be leaving quite so long to return. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Nongkhai Thai - Eltham:
We used to dine in and have take away all the time....it used to be a very good local Thai restaurant...however, we wont be going back or taking out again...It started with our soups which were, put simply, sweet as sugar and lacked that Thai ooomph....our mains were nondescript and the Roti wasnt cooked and was like eating warm dough....we wont be back nor will we get take out again..... My opinion after the most authentic thai in eltham. had the stir fried chili, basilikum huh and also garlic pfeffer huhn store fry. both very tasty, much veg and decent level of flavor, made authentic. good price also for Thai travellers and friendly service. I would certainly be my choice of Thai food in the opposite, they all tried.
Reliable and consistent. that's my local visit to thai. eating is good and while eating in service is attentive, in the midst of a beautiful atmosphere.
In my opinion most authentic Thai in Eltham. Had the stir fried chilli, basil chicken and also garlic pepper chicken store fry. Both very tasty, plenty of veg and also decent level of spice, authentically done. Well priced too for Thai takeaway, and friendly service. Would certainly be my pick of the Thai food in area having tried them all.
Reliable and consistent. This is my local go-to for Thai take away. The food is good and when dining in the service is attentive, amidst a nice atmosphere.
Food was exceptional, came out fast and the service was very professional and friendly. The food was also presented very well. Will definitely be going back.
