What Lois S doesn't like about Food for All Seasons:
While in Warrandyte recently we were looking for somewhere to have lunch and good coffee. Their coffee was very good, their service was friendly and their food was ok. Saying that, the flavours were good, it was mostly the presentation that was odd. The vegetable stack was a pile of roasted vegetables sitting on raw spinach with a heap of melted cheese on top (which I had to scrap off) . It didn’t present very well b... View all feedback.
We happened to stop at this restaurant for lunch on a whim, as we were too hungry to keep driving during our road trip. It turns out that we may have discovered one of the best potato wedges in Victoria. The wedges were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, reminiscent of roasted pork belly or crispy skin salmon. They were served as a side to a delicious burger, with a fantastic patty. We also tried the chicken parma, which was decent, but the side salad came with an unexpected surprise - a strand of hair that definitely did not belong to us.
This restaurant serves one of the best smashed avocado dishes I've ever had. The combination of flavors is perfectly balanced and topped off with a delicious balsamic glaze. The spot overlooks the Yarra River, adding to the great dining experience. I would give it an 8.5 out of 10 for portion size, flavor, and price.
Really lovely cafe in the stunning location of Warrandyte. <br/ <br/ Service was excellent and very friendly with delicious treats and wonderful coffee.<br/ <br/ We look forward to returning here again.
Great coffee and delicious food. Very reasonably priced compared to nearby cafes. We had the quiche and scones and they were great. Highly recommended if in the area.
Great food been there twice now. This week had possibly the best focaccia ever chicken, avo and bacon in their aoli sauce and came with a sizable and delicious side salad (with Italian dressing on the side) **** marvelous that. Hubby has beef and chili been filo which he said was delicious. Very generous servings. Great coffees and attentive wait staff. Speaking of which, the owners should be congratulated for hiring mature wait staff. The lady we had was very mature but professional and efficient. Kudos to the owners.
