What this Chinese restaurant lacks in atmosphere and friendliness it more than compensates in the quality of its food. Its such a shame the waitress lacks personality and customer service skills and makes you feel like you are interrupting her by being there and you do feel very rushed - as soon as you rest your cutlery down she swoops in for your plate. No offer of tea coffee or desert adds to the lack of hospitalit... View all feedback.
What Jana Ziemann doesn't like about Mandarin I China Restaurant:
we went there in group 13 people , when we came looks like the place was good but we are very supprised when we asked for spoon an fork the waiter throwed it to us and we complained about that , the waiter women getting angry and yelling to us and one my group member asked her to did not serve us , disaster restaurant and bad restaurant I have ever seen in my life View all feedback.
Excellent Chinese food. We ordered chicken soup with goji berries, seafood tofu Clayton, steamed codfish and stir fry vegetable. The taste was like home made, with little or almost no MSG after effect. The taste is just right, not too oily, salty but very fresh. It was so good and home made that we have to return the 2nd night. From the deco, one can feel that the resturanteur made all efforts on the detail furnishing of the place, including the ceiling. Even their cutler is were all specially made and designed with their insignia. No melamine material. All porcelain.Would be good to improve on the lighting as it is fairly dark and the kitchen exhaust smell could be detected in the dinning area. But, nevertheless, the food is all worthwhile. To top it off, the price is more than reasonable compared to other similar Chinese retardants in Europe (Germany, Switzerland, France) based on the material freshness and light cooking style. Just nicely bring out the taste and aroma of the food.
This restaurant was conveniently located to our hotel. Wish we would if kept walking. First off we asked once inside and seated if they take credit cards ( seems most do not ) and they did not. Ordered a light dinner 2 soups and 4 spring rolls. The soup care and was ok, our 2 spring rolls each came as one greasy burrito style thing..... asked for sweet/sour or hot mustard and they acted like I was asking for gold. Then said they charge for the condiments!!The greasy spring rolls ... we pulled out the innards and tried to eat it. Skip this place.
