Maine Luau - Ellsworth

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had! We came about an hour before closing after trying to find a place to eat after a long day of hiking—the owner and staff were exceptionally accommodating and very friendly. The food was even better! They have the best baked beans I have ever had in my life. Great seafood and lobster roll (our first! along with other tasty sides. Very fair prices and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back as soon as we can. With love from PA!

Best barbecue in Maine hands down. Everything we tried was amazing the brisket was melt in your mouth good the guys that work there are awesome. Chill and laid back atmosphere the way barbecue should be!

We were in the area and ready for lunch. My husband happens to be a real horn dog for barbecue so we decided to stop at our favorite barbecue spot . I enjoyed my lobster roll but my husband was in heaven over the brisket. Amazing food amazing staff and super chill atmosphere. If i could give 10 stars

Stopped here on our way to Acadia NP. The staff was very friendly. Our group had some lobster mac cheese, lobster rolls, a whole lobster, and some pulled pork. They were all top notch. However, the star of the show was the home made blueberry pie. It was some of the best I've ever had. We liked it so much we asked to buy a whole pie, which we picked up on our way back out of the park. 2 days later, it was still delicious and the crust was still flaky. I'm not sure which was the best part, the crust or the filling. I would definitely go back, if given the chance.

Delicious haddock fish and chips. Recommend the in house made blueberry lemonade as well.
